The Flexible Food Diet System
The Last Diet You Will Ever Have
Welcome to the last “diet” system you are ever going to follow for the rest of your life! You are learning about the most comprehensive nutritional program ever developed. When you read comprehensive, do not think complicated; think balanced, sustainable, and so easy that a caveman could do it! Speaking of cavemen what is the flexible food system? Well it’s easier to tell you want it is not:
- It’s not Paleo (their guidelines are ill-advised)
- It’s not Ketogenic (the guidelines are not sustainable)
- It’s not Vegan or Vegetarian (I recommend healthy meats)
- It’s not the next or latest fad diet (read: rollercoaster weight loss ride)
If you go back and read the title of my proposed system, you’ll notice the word system at the end. And that’s exactly what it is – a SYSTEM!
The confines of this program are going to run for half of a year. That’s right! You are going to work with me both one-on-one and in a group setting via the Internet for 6 months! During this time you are going to work my flexible food diet system two times over. The first time through I will be holding your hand every step of the way. The second time through you will start off on a short leash, slowly graduating to a longer and longer one until I know you understand the principles of nutrition as well as I do. This is not a weekend read, or a crash course on the latest research. You are going to get a true education on what food does to your body.
Why three months at a time? Well, science shows that your body replaces approximately 90% of its cells every three months. Knowing this, we will have two shots to literally change the way every cell in your body is functioning.
Month 1: It’s Your Cells That Tell
For starters, the crux of this system begins with the use of a questionnaire. With this questionnaire we will determine exactly the types of food your body uses to thrive. Oddly (but not really), this is not the same for everyone. My girlfriend for instance, does just fine with grass fed dairy products while I on the other hand get the energy sucked right out of me if I get just a whiff of butter. Utilizing this test alone, you could eat your allowable foods and be mostly healthy for the rest of your life, but we won’t stop there. Why? Because that’s where all other diets do!
For the most part, this month is pleasant and you will notice a major shift in energy with a concurrent decrease in the amount of hunger you normally experience. It’s this first month where we start to balance your hormones and retrain your digestive system.
Month 2: Rebirth!
Month one will be a very slow awakening to the benefits of the flexible food system. You will have less aches and pains, more energy, and you will always be or feel full. That’s right, this is not a starvation diet! In the second month, I will start to restrict some of your nutrients that I know a generous portion of the population is sensitive to. Food sensitivities are like the dust underneath your couch, you don’t even realize it’s there until the day you check. As you start to eliminate these foods and replace them with better options, a most profound shift in energy occurs. Your body runs cleaner. The weight starts falling off fast. In some cases too fast and we need to make an adjustment, which we will. During this time you will also go through a natural detox phase as your body starts to expunge pounds and pounds of toxins it no longer needs to hold on to. I’ve had many clients tell me they feel brand new, reborn even! The most common comments I receive is, “I didn’t know you were supposed to feel this good.” And that’s the slow methodical like deception poor nutrition promotes. The change is often too slow and we forget what good feels like, accepting our fate.
Month 3: The White Glove Test
Part A: Surviving through months one and two, month three is where you will really start to thrive. By this time most of your bad habits will be removed. Your food choices will become automatic, and you’ll even start craving foods you thought were gross or disliked. Why? Because your gut microbiome is changing. Microbiome is a fancy sounding word for the home bacteria has made in your intestinal track. We have good, and we have bad, and by this time the bad are losing the war – well, badly. I have noticed this personally as well as my past clients, but as I started to clean up my digestive system, my food choices – the things I craved, changed. I used to think asparagus, and cauliflower was disgusting, now they are mainstays in my fridge. Science is now confirming this too. A recent study is pointing to the possibility that bad gut bacteria can influence our likes and dislikes, and even our mood. How and what we eat actually affects how we think, and it’s all being controlled by microscopic organisms 300 million years older than we are. It’s probably a good idea to listen to them, I’m sure they picked up a thing or two along the way!
Part B: While the battle for your intestines is being won by the good guys, this also gives me the chance to clean up any auto-immune disease that are present or on their way to be present. I’m not a doctor, so please don’t take this as medical advice, but plenty of people have thrown out their prescription drugs at this point. What was created by the mismanagement of food can be corrected by its proper use. I’ve seen high blood pressure come down, cholesterol drugs not get renewed, seizures disappear, and skin conditions repair themselves by this time. I do this by reducing your nutrient load even further primarily cutting out any lectin containing foods that are remaining. You are now at ground zero, the bare bones of what your body needs to thrive on.
The weight loss you experience during this month is a side effect of ending the war your gut bacteria have been waging for the last umpteen years of your life. This is true transformation, not counting calories or eating tasteless prepackaged food. This isn’t poor science or some hair-brained idea to eat like our ancestors. This is reforming two organisms – you, and the bacteria your body houses. This truly is unlike any other program you will ever come across.
Eat. Cheat. Repeat.
You may be shocked to find out that I actually recommend sugar to my clients. Psychologically, and physically, sugar is not the primary problem. It is a synergist. It compounds your problems if you are already overweight. When we scientifically and purposefully introduce sugar into our system while following some simple guidelines, sugar becomes a catalyst for us and actually kick-starts our weight loss even further! Learning this one trick is worth the price of this program alone!
Lastly, The Psychology
Losing weight is not physical. The body only changes because the mind does. It can happen no other way! Before you even think about contacting me for help, here are some questions you may want to ask yourself. I call them my essential 14:
- How would your life be better if you were thin?
- Who do you blame for being overweight? Can you forgive them, or forgive yourself if it is you? It will be impossible for you to move forward without letting this go.
- What would motivate you beyond any doubt to lose the weight you wanted to?
- Think back as far as you have to, to the last time you considered yourself thin. Were you happy then?
- Do you enjoy exercise and is that something you want to incorporate into your weight loss plan?
- What are you willing to sacrifice to lose weight?
- What aren’t you willing to sacrifice?
- Would anyone in your life be upset if you lost weight (A partner, friend, family member etc.)?
- On a scale of 1-10, how important is it for you to lose weight?
- What will happen if you don’t lose weight? What will it cost you? What will it cost your family?
- What story do you tell yourself as to why you have gained weight?
- What’s the story you tell yourself as to why you can’t lose weight or haven’t in the past?
- Are you willing to accomplish some things you currently resist?
- Lastly, what is your biggest fear about losing weight? What will happen if your fear comes to fruition?
And, finally, the goods:
You are going to receive a plethora of things in this system, but none more important than the first, and that is my own personal meditation program.
Component #1 – Meditation. Now I know what you’re thinking. There is no way I have time for this, and there is no way I can clear my mind and breathe into my third eye. Well, relax, because you won’t have to! There are various forms of meditation and the one I’m giving you is by far the easiest and most effective. It’s called active meditation, which basically means something else will be changing your brain, instead of you. All you have to do is simply set your clock for a half hour earlier every day, wake up and put your headphones on and relax till you have to get up for work. Like I said, success starts in between the ears and if we are not changing our brain in conjunction with our body failure will be eventual.
Component #2 – A personally tailored food program recommended by YOUR DNA. Losing weight is not a guessing game nor can one diet fit everyone. By taking the questionnaire the day you sign up with me we will have your own personal diet road map as told to me by your very own cells. This technology has been used for over 40 years and has not failed one of my clients yet. It is the baseline of everything you need to know to successfully lose weight and keep it off. This is one of the many benefits science has to offer us.
Component #3 – Access to my membership site that boasts over 60 power point lessons that are going to help you develop a true understanding of nutrition you will carry with you through the rest of your life. Topics include good fats, bad fats, energy systems, detoxification, what to buy organic, advertisements and jargon used to trick you, and much MUCH more!
Component #4 – A weekly group call over the Internet where we iron out all the details of the previous week, and the up coming week.
